Perris Launches City App for Emergency Notices, Road Closures and Community Events

PERRIS — CALIFORNIA58 LOCAL REPORT. Perris has introduced a municipal mobile app that brings emergency notifications, road closure information and local event announcements into a single city communication channel.

What residents can receive

The city advertises push updates about public safety, community programs and transportation interruptions. It also links the On Track in Perris newsletter, city meetings, public records requests and online class registration from its website.

An extra source of official information

A mobile notification can help residents learn about local changes, but urgent official wildfire, flood or evacuation warnings may also come through county systems and emergency agencies.

Where to get it

Residents should follow the app download links from the official city homepage rather than using an unsolicited text-message link. Perris City Hall is at 101 North D Street, phone 951-943-6100.
