PERRIS — CALIFORNIA58 LOCAL REPORT. Perris reopened Foss Field Park on April 10, 2026 after more than fifteen months of construction, unveiling a redesigned neighborhood recreation area.

What the completed park includes

The city lists a new 4,900-square-foot recreation building, skate park, futsal and pickleball courts, a playground, fitness stations, shade structures, athletic fields, restrooms, a walking trail and butterfly garden.

A public investment with partners

The reopening announcement recognized city and county leaders and the state funding work that helped make the renovations possible. The project follows a construction kickoff held in January 2025.

Reserve organized activities properly

The park is a public recreation facility, but exclusive field use, classes or commercial events may require authorization. Check current city recreation schedules and rules before planning a tournament or group event.
